Roadmap

  • 0.01 (Alpha) - First alpha release. Basic graphics, physics, and scene management (released)
  • 0.02 (Alpha) - Better graphics systems, advanced sprite management, sprite primitives (released)
  • 0.03 (Alpha) - Fully functional collision, including slopes.
  • 0.04 (Alpha) - Create more events for primitives classes. Fully finish coding NPC, Faller, and Walker sprite primitives.
  • 0.05 (Alpha) - Create basic in-code NPC. Create level background, background object, and music capabilities.
  • 0.06 (Alpha) - Sound effects. Finish ~20% of player class (graphics, physics, sound) and some basic powerups
  • 0.07 (Alpha) - Keep improving player class. Create a script engine and create a scripted NPC.
  • 0.08 (Alpha) - Level scrolling, content for blocks, level exits.

... (some more releases. 0.45 onwards are in case of falling behind schedule)

  • 0.50 (Beta) - Tech demo - fully functional level
  • 0.50 onwards (Beta) - Level editor, add more sprites and tiles, create default episode, sprite editor?
  • 1.00 (Full release) - Fully functional game.
